After a successful 10-2 team season that ended in the team's first playoff appearance in years, three individual Oakland Catholic golfers excelled individually. Three Eagles advanced to the WPIAL Individual Championships, making their mark as three of the top 36 players in western PA. Junior captain Riley Levers continued her impressive run, qualifying for the third consecutive year; junior Sydney Mararra made her first appearance; and freshman Lily Freyvogel was one of only 4 freshman to compete in the entire field.

The first round was held at a long and wet Seven Oaks Country Club that resulted in Levers and Mararra advancing to the final round at Sewickley Heights. Both girls played well and represented Oakland beautifully. Big congratulations to all three players!

The Eagles now shift their focus to the team championship next week at Cedarbrook.
