Coach Cornack  love of tennis began in high school when he was cut from the baseball team and encouraged to give tennis a try. He went on to be the captain and assistant coach of the Northern Michigan University tennis team. Throughout his adult life he has served as the pro at the Sewickly YMCA as well as played on numerous men’s tennis teams. Since his retirement as CEO of a traumatic brain injury facility he has dedicated much of his free time to the care of the Frick Park Red Clay tennis courts and serves on their board as well as volunteer counselor/coach at their summer sports camps. John recently received certification as a professional tennis coach from the Emilio Sanchez Tennis Academy in Naples FL. 

John and his wife Lisa enjoyed being part of the OC family while their daughter, Alexa Cornack Caron, attended OC, class of ‘04.
