The OC Lacrosse Team started their season strong with an 11-4 victory over Greater Latrobe last week! Let's cheer them on as they hit the road to face Trinity High School tomorrow, Tuesday, March 25th.

State Swim Meet results

Day 1.Luci Mazurek finished 18th in the 50 free. The 200 Free Relay (Luci Mazurek, Kayla Rembert, Alexa Bronkaj, Molly Henninger) finished 27th.Below are the results from Day 2 Luci made finals in her 100 Back and finished 15th. The 400 free relay (Luci, Kayla, Molly, Alexa) finished  30th. Congratulations to the swim team on an amazing year!

Congratulations to Scarlet McAdams-Otoya, Molly Henninger, Kayla Rembert, Alexa Bronkaj, and Fabi Fritz-Vence, who were honored during Senior Night last swim meet. They celebrated with a win over Penn Hills! As the regular swim season comes to a close, we are pleased to recognize the following students who have qualified for WPIALS: Molly Henninger ’25, Kayla Rembert ’25, Alexa Bronkaj ’25, Maddy Connolly ’26, Luci Mazurek ’27, Sam Schork ’27, and Natalie Waffensmith ’28. Softball Season Opener

The Oakland Catholic Softball Team opened its season with a scrimmage against the South Allegheny Gladiators on Wednesday March 19, 2025 at South Allegheny Field. The Oakland Catholic Eagles collected a total of 19 hits throughout the game leading to their 12 runs over 7 innings. Nina Hillard led the Eagles going 5-5. She blasted a two-run homerun in the first inning to get the Eagles on the scoreboard. Many players had a multiple hit game including Natalie Waffensmith, Kennedy Waffensmith, Madison Pullen, and Karly Polanowski.Kennedy Waffensmith started in the circle for the Eagles. She allowed 17 hits and 14 runs (10 earned) over six innings, striking out one and only walking two. The Oakland Catholic Eagles will be back at it this week with their Home Opener against the Jeannette Jayhawks on Thursday March 27, 2025 at 4pm at Millvale Field.
